Theodore Charles Stone served as president of the Chicago Music Association for more than 50 years and as president of the National Association of Negro Musicians. His papers include correspondence, programs, photographs, clippings and memorabilia documenting his career as a concert baritone, his work in the CMA and NANM, and his work as a music writer for several black newspapers in Chicago.
