Participate in the Hour of Code with Teens Across Chicago

In celebration of Computer Science Education Week, December 8-13, Chicago Public Library will be participating in the Hour of Code, a global initiative that aims to provide “a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics.”

Teen Services will be participating with a variety of programs across the city. Microsoft has partnered with YOUmedia to bring demonstrations and programs to HWLC YOUmedia.

Teens who complete two Hour of Code activities during Computer Science Week will have the chance to visit to the Microsoft Office for an exclusive workshop with Microsoft employees in the Microsoft Computer Lab.

Stop by one of the programs to find out more, and join teens across the country to learn how to code.
