In the past five years, the love for Wonder by R.J. Palacio has grown and grown. Palacio's story about Auggie Pullman, a fifth-grader with craniofacial differences who must find his way through middle school, had an impact on millions of readers. When both boys are bullied by their classmate, Dillon, they'll have to get past their assumptions about each other to overcome their shared problem.

In Wonder, Julian makes school tough for Auggie. Twerp tells the story of a different Julian, a bully who thinks he isn't one. Sixth-grader Julian Twerski and his friends were suspended after violently bullying a neighbor boy with some disabilities. Julian's teacher makes him write a journal about what happened. The process of writing helps Julian learn more about himself, gain empathy for others and learn how to make things right.
