Started in Chicago, Inició en Xicago, a bilingual presentation of Mexican-inspired paper art by Lunartecos, is on display March 10 to April 20 on the 8th floor of Harold Washington Library Center.

Artist Statement

Lunartecos creative collaborators studio is based in Pilsen. They participate in pop-up shops and art markets throughout Chicagoland. Their emphasis is on community-based projects with a focus on neighborhood history, visual culture and identity. Lunartecos' future projects include site-specific installations, public art + activism, and interactive and interdisciplinary art making.
