Add My Preferred Library

You have the ability to set a preferred library location in your My CPL account. When searching the library catalog, if you are logged in from anywhere outside of a CPL library location, setting a preferred library will put items at your branch at the top of the results list. In addition, if you have set a preferred library, that library will be the default pickup location when you place a hold in the library catalog.

To Select a My Preferred Library

  1. From your My CPL account page click on the [Update] button.
  2. Select a library from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click the Go button.

To Change Your My Preferred Library

  1. From your My CPL account page click on the [Update] button.
  2. Select a new library from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click the Go button.
