Update My Personal Information
You can update your name, address or phone number at any library location. Identification must be provided.
Update Your Email Address
To add, edit or delete an email address, log in to your My CPL account and click on the Update link under My Personal Information.
By providing an email address you are electing to receive notifications by email instead of by phone. This includes notices on holds, overdue and lost materials. Add notices@chipublib.org to your email address book to ensure delivery of all Chicago Public Library email notifications. Please note that you must check your email account regularly if you chose to receive email notifications because hold materials are held for a limited time.
Children’s Personal Information
Children’s personal information, including email addresses, can only be updated at Chicago Public Library locations.
