The City of Chicago Department of Human Resources has introduced a new website, CAREERS, for employment applications which can be accessed at the City of Chicago CAREERS Web Site.
Jobs will be listed on the CAREERS website only when an approved vacancy exists. CAREERS enables candidates to complete applications from any computer with Internet access 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This new system requires users to create a profile prior to submitting a job application or bid application. By completing a profile, an applicant may designate specific jobs they are interested in and will be notified via email, if provided for, of jobs available for application.
