It just gets better and better! You probably are already aware of Katniss Everdeen’s challenges and successes in the first book of The Hunger Games trilogy (if not, stop here and read it immediately!) and if you’ve been wondering what could possibly happen next, here’s your chance to find out. Trust me, it’s NOT what you were expecting. Collins does an amazing job of creating new suspense, drama and excitement in a world that’s become familiar to us and, at the same time, is what nobody (including Katniss) would recognize. The creativity and resourcefulness of both the author and the characters is incredible and will keep you intrigued right up until the huge twist . . . and then suck you in even further. After all, Katniss and Peeta won the Hunger Games, right? They’re champions, set for life, right? Not if the Capitol has anything to say about it!
