Teen Volume Conference
The 2011 Teen Volume Conference, “From Romance to Realism: Best New Young Adult Books,” featured distinguished guest Michael Cart, author of Young Adult Literature: From Romance to Realism, editor and book reviewer.
The Teen Volume Conference is a free, annual professional development day co-sponsored by the Chicago Public Library and Chicago Public Schools, intended for librarians, teacher-librarians, English teachers and reading specialists who serve teens in high school, ages 14-19, in the city of Chicago. It is made possible through generous funding by the City of Chicago and CarMax through the Chicago Public Library Foundation.
