The Chicago Public Library will hold various story times for kids and families featuring Sandra Cisneros’ touching children’s story, Hairs/Pelitos, which in fact is a vignette lifted from The House on Mango Street. Ages 3-5.

SCRIPT-WRITING WORKSHOP In partnership with Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Chicago Public Library will host writer and actress Tanya Saracho as the guest presenter of a script adaptation workshop especially for teens.
