Find Law at the Library events

A free legal information series focusing on today’s hot legal issues. Each Law at the Library program features a presentation by an experienced attorney, followed by a brief question and answer session. Law at the Library, an ongoing partnership with The Chicago Bar Association, allows participants to speak to a licensed attorney, free of charge.


Topics covered at these sessions include:

  • Adoption/guardianship
  • Child support
  • Divorce
  • Changes in tax law
  • Estate planning
  • Starting a small business
