Storybook Science Program

Museum of Science and Industry photo
Take a journey with the Museum of Science and Industry through the presidency of Abraham Lincoln and learn about the birth of the modern camera, investigate navigational techniques and explore the invention of the first submarine. Kids will also explore the growth of science through activities such as capturing images on light sensitive paper, going on a treasure hunt using a GPS tool and building a working model of a submarine. Through different science activities, the participants will discover not only science in the time of Lincoln but also how that science has transformed our lives today.
