DESCRIPTION:<p>Join storyteller Lynn Rymarz for the story of Geraldine Hoff Doyle, the image behind the iconic poster of Rosie the Riveter, 'We Can Do It!'&nbsp; Hear how this glamour girl went to work in a factory at the age of 17 to support the war effort during WWII.&nbsp; Learn about some of the other real life 'Rosies' who stepped out of their&nbsp;traditional roles to go to work during this historical era.&nbsp; Step back in time to discover their joys, their hardships and their struggles.&nbsp; The&nbsp;parallel story of&nbsp;the life and times of a Jewish teenage girl, named Millie&nbsp;Werber, from the ghetto in Poland is also woven into the presentation.&nbsp; Hear her story of going to work in a factory to support the Nazi war effort.&nbsp; Her memoir, <em>Two Rings:&nbsp;A Story of Love and War</em>, will be included.&nbsp; For 6th grade to adults.</p>
