DESCRIPTION:<p>Sumathi Natarajan will discuss her Madhubani Art exhibit at the library. Madhubani is&nbsp;part of a rich cultural heritage that originated from the Mithila region of the eastern Indian state of Bihar. By&nbsp;working&nbsp;with traditional&nbsp;techniques,&nbsp;the artist hopes to bring about international awareness of the ancient art forms of rural India.&nbsp;<br><br><em>Madhubani:&nbsp;Artworks by Sumathi Natarajan</em> will be on display January 11-February 28, 2013, in the flat exhibit cases on the 8th floor of the Harold Washington Library Center.<br><br>The Artist Talk will take place in the Art Reference Room on the 8th floor.</p>
