DESCRIPTION:<p>Join us as Simon Winchester discusses, shows illustrations from and signs copies of his new book <em>SKULLS: An Exploration of Alan Dudley's Curious Collection</em>.<br><br>In <em>SKULLS</em>, Winchester presents a spellbinding visual exploration of an obsessive collector of what some may call the macabre&mdash;over 300 animal skulls, including amphibians, birds, fish, mammals, and reptiles.</p>

<p>This stunning, iconographic collection highlights skulls from several angles and includes riveting facts from collector Alan Dudley about the skull itself and brilliant, literary writing from Winchester that results in a beautiful collection for exploration that will incite scientific interest in readers young and old.<br><br>This event with Simon Winchester, celebrating his new book&nbsp;<em>SKULLS</em>, provides the perfect opportunity to celebrate Halloween in grand literary style!<br><br>Seating is limited and available first come, first served.&nbsp; Reservations are not required.&nbsp; Books are available for purchase at this event and&nbsp;Mr. Winchester&nbsp;will autograph books at the conclusion of the program.</p>
