DESCRIPTION:<p>Join us in celebration of the popular picture book, <em>Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad</em>, by the husband and wife team of David Somar and Jacky Davis.<br><br>Help us break the record for the largest shared reading experience ever as thousands of children and adults across the nation read <em>Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad</em> during the week of September 27 through October 4. A story reading and related crafts and activities are provided for ages 3 to 5 years, caregivers and families.<br><br>Chicago Public Library invites your participation as part of Jumpstart&rsquo;s <strong>Read for the Record</strong> campaign, which raises national awareness about the economic disparity in early education.</p>
