DESCRIPTION:<p>David Pituch is a recording artist, performer of the classical saxophone and music historian. His professional career began following an extended Fulbright Scholarship at the Musicology Institute of Warsaw University in Warsaw, Poland. He has performed as a saxophone soloist with the Polish Chamber Orchestra, the Warsaw Radio Orchestra, Cappella Cravoviensis, the Berlin Radio Orchestra, and the Danish Radio Orchestra. Mr. Pituch founded the Class in Saxophone at the Chopin University of Music. He will perform a delightful variety of original compositions created by Chicago composers for alto saxophone with piano accompaniment.<br><br>Presented by the Talking Book Center of the Harold Washington Library Center.</p>
