DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the classic children's book, <em>Corduroy. </em>A story reading and related crafts and activities are provided for ages 3 to 8 years, caregivers and families.<br><br>Help us break the record for the largest shared reading experience ever as thousands of children and adults across the nation read <em>Corduroy</em> on October 2nd. <br><br>Chicago Public Library invites your participation as part of Jumpstart's <strong>Read for the Record</strong> campaign, which raises national awareness about the economic disparity in early education.
