About this event:
Agata Tuszynska, one of the most popular authors of biography and memoir in Poland, will discuss and read from her book Vera Gran: The Accused. The story is a multidimensional treatise on the tragic choices and moral consequences of a torch singer from the Warsaw ghetto, who was accused of collaborating with the Nazi Germans.
Ms. Tuszynska's appearance at the Chicago Public Library has been organized in collaboration with the Polish Cultural Institute in New York and with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute in Warsaw.
