Columbia College Chicago Fiction Writing Department presents 17th Annual Story Week Festival of Writers programs in partnership with the Chicago Public Library.
Emma Donoghue appears in conversation with Karen Lee Osborne to discuss her noted collection of short stories titled Astray. The characters featured in these stories include a cross-section of society, such as runaways, drifters, gold miners, counterfeiters, attorneys, and slaves from Puritan Massachusetts and revolutionary New Jersey to antebellum Louisiana.
Karen Lee Osborne is a writer and has taught at Columbia College Chicago since 1987. Her novels include Carlyle Simpson and Hawkwings.
Seating is in the Cindy Pritzker Auditorium and available first come, first served. Reservations are not required. Books are available for purchase at this event.
