About this event:
Gillian Flynn, author of the bestselling novel Gone Girl, joins us to read from and discuss her much talked about book.

The Chicago writer is a former TV critic for Entertainment Weekly.  Her previous novels are Sharp Objects, an Edgar Award finalist and the winner of two of Britain's Dagger Awards, and Dark Places.

This event is presented by the Society of Midland Authors, an organization established in 1915 for published authors in the Midwest.  The Chicago Public Library is pleased to co-host this event.

Seating is available first come, first served.  Reservations are not required.  Books are available for purchase and Ms. Flynn will autograph books at the conclusion of the program.
