A panel discussion on African American history in Chicago features Dr. Christopher Reed, emeritus professor of U.S. history at Roosevelt University; Chicago historian and professor Timuel D. Black, Jr. and Dr. Robert Starks, associate professor of inner-city studies at Northeastern Illinois University. Performances by M.A.D.D. Rhythms and Ken’te Kizer will follow the discussion.
