Join us for a discussion of Half-Blood Blues: A Novel by Esi Edugyan. A young, brilliant trumpet-player. Hieronymus is arrested in a Paris cafe. The star musician was a German citizen, he was black, and he was never heard from again. Half-Blood Blues us an electric, heart-breaking story about music, race, love and loyalty, as well as the sacrifices we ask ourselves and demand of others.
