Winterization Workshop and Coat Drive

Date: Sat. December 01, 2012

Time: 11:00 am

Location:
Bezazian
1226 W. Ainslie Street
60640

About this event:

Attend a home winterization workshop with Chicago Conservation Corps trainer Elsa Jacobson.  You will be given a winterization kit and trained how to use all the included material and tools.  There are only 25 available spaces so you must RSVP to get a kit.

During the workshop we are hosting a winter coat and clothing drive to benefit Cornerstone Community Outreach.  Gently used gloves, hats and scarves as well as hygiene products will be accepted.  There will be a raffle drawing for those who donate coats.

This event is sponsored by the Chicago Conservation Corps, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum and the Community Weatherization Action Teams.
