About this event:
Join us as Simon Winchester discusses, shows illustrations from and signs copies of his new book SKULLS: An Exploration of Alan Dudley's Curious Collection.
In SKULLS, Winchester presents a spellbinding visual exploration of an obsessive collector of what some may call the macabre—over 300 animal skulls, including amphibians, birds, fish, mammals, and reptiles.
This stunning, iconographic collection highlights skulls from several angles and includes riveting facts from collector Alan Dudley about the skull itself and brilliant, literary writing from Winchester that results in a beautiful collection for exploration that will incite scientific interest in readers young and old.
This event with Simon Winchester, celebrating his new book SKULLS, provides the perfect opportunity to celebrate Halloween in grand literary style!
Seating is limited and available first come, first served. Reservations are not required. Books are available for purchase at this event and Mr. Winchester will autograph books at the conclusion of the program.
