Choosing to Participate is an interactive, multimedia exhibition from Facing History and Ourselves that has won nationwide praise for encouraging more than 500,000 people to consider the consequences of their everyday choices and to inspire them to make a difference in their schools and communities. Visitors will view a series of multimedia installations about people and communities whose stories illustrate how courage, initiative, and compassion are necessary to protect democracy. Admission is free. For more information, visit choosingtoparticipate.org.

Choosing to Participate is presented as part of Now Is The Time, a citywide initiative inspiring Chicago's young people to make positive change in their communities and stop youth violence and intolerance.
