About this event:
One of the biggest struggles when it comes to writing is simply getting started. We'll talk about the choices you face, both technical and imaginative, when you sit down to write. There will be several short creative excercises to help get you started.
Leslie Parry is a writer based in Chicago. Her short stories have appeared in numerous publications, and have been nominated for a National Magazine Award and a Pushcart Prize.
