Date: Wed. October 10, 2012

Time: 6:30 pm

Location:
Austin-Irving
6100 W. Irving Park Road
60634

Program: Polish American Heritage Month

About this event:

Join us for the story of Minutka, a little dog who shows us how she likes being in a family, playing with friends and being bilingual, fluent in Polish and English!  Also, we’ll read about a hedgehog who outsmarts a fox when they decide to share their land and crops in The Best of the Bargain: Adapted from a Polish Folktale. After our stories, learn to make a Wycinanki craft, the traditional art of Polish paper cutting.
