About this event:

In celebration of Polish Heritage Month, Marlena Dzis, Luke Malewicz, and Antykwariat Jazz Quintet come together for a beautiful evening of original music and jazz standards.  Marlena Dzis has been featured at New Orleans’ Spotted Cat, Neutral Ground, and Chicago venues such as Cafe Ciao, Katerina's, Gallery Cabaret, and Uncommon Ground Devon.  Antykwariat Jazz Group (who previously performed in Poland and other European countries) is a constant force in the Chicago Polish jazz scene, offering a rich repertoire of original works and standards. Joining them is trombonist, Luke Malewicz, who has performed with the Alan Gresik Swing Shift Orchestra at Chicago's Green Mill Cocktail Lounge and the recently released S. Joel album.
