About this event:
In conjunction with Chicago Artists Month, Beth Shadur will discuss her exhibit at the library, Away with the Faeries: Mixed Media Paintings by Beth Shadur. Inspired by an artist residency in Ireland, these paintings explore the ancient sacred symbol of the spiral as found in nature and in the artwork of early civilizations. Away with the Faeries will be on display August 24–October 26, on the 8th floor of the Harold Washington Library Center.
