As a prelude to 'Great Chicago Places and Spaces' which takes place May 17 & 18, join us for “Great Conversations” with Paul Goldberger. Presented by the Commission on Chicago Landmarks which is marking the 40th anniversary of the passage of the Chicago Landmarks Ordinance. This event is co-sponsored by the Mayor’s Office of Special Events, Department of Planning and Development, and CPL.
Goldberger is the Architecture Critic for The New Yorker. He also holds the Joseph Urban Chair in Design and Architecture at The New School in New York City. He began his career at the New York Times, where in 1984 his architecture criticism was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Distinguished Criticism, the highest award in journalism.
