About this event:

Meet Clover, Lefty, Chock the Pirate and dozens of other personalities as the celebrated Puppet Bike visits the Library! (State Street entrance) 6 p.m.- midnight.

The Read Green, Live Green Show - a series of short demonstrations to inform and astound you about the world around you. (1st floor Popular Library) 6 p.m.-midnight.

Children's Storytelling: Gwen Hilary and Enoch Williamson fuse music and the spoken word to bring story characters to life. (2nd floor Thomas Hughes Children's Library) 7 p.m. & 8 p.m.

Award-winning children's author and illustrator, Mordicai Gerstein, will present the 26th Zena Sutherland Lecture, entitled 'Writing What I Don't Know' (Cindy Pritzker Auditorium) 7:30 p.m. Register at (312) 747-4780 or  at story@chipublib.org.
