This performance presents tap, footworkin’ and steppin’ on one stage. M.A.D.D Rhythms, a high energy tap ensemble teams up with the fast paced, dance battle champions FootworKINGz and the smooth-dancing National Steppers Society, taking the audience on a distinctly urban Chicago dance adventure. In cooperation with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs we present a new Dance Intersections performance series, which presents one of a kind collaboration between Chicago's accomplished dance companies. Each performance features two or three companies whose work shares a common point of intersection. This “intersection” can be related to a theme, inspiration, music, movement vocabulary, use of text or video or other area of common interest or concern.
