U. S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was born in the tiny mining town of Searchlight, Nevada. Sen. Reid has spent his entire life not only overcoming obstacles but being inspired by them. Join us at the Freedom Museum to hear more inspiring tales from Sen. Reid’s recently released autobiography The Good Fight: Hard Lessons from Searchlight to Washington. Admission is free. Presented by McCormick Tribune Freedom Museum and the Chicago Public Library
