Kenan Heise author of Chicago Afternoons with Leon: 99 ½ Years Old and Looking Forward, is joined in conversation by the book’s subject, former 5th Ward Alderman Leon Despres. They will share Leon’s views on Chicago. The author of several books about Chicago, Kenan Heise was a journalist for more than thirty years at the Chicago Tribune. This author series is presented by the Friends of Blackstone Branch Library.
