About this event:
Discover new voices, share new work, and see diverse Chicago poetry styles on display. The poetry Cram is an open mic event where every attempt will be made to 'cram' as many poets into one performance as possible. Published poets from several local presses will also read their works.
C.J. Laity is the publisher of ChicagoPoetry.com and has organized, hosted and been featured at various literarty events in Chicago over the last two decades, including events for the Guild Complex, Around the Coyote, the City of Chicago Blues Festival and the Chicago Tribune Printers Row Book Fair. He is the author of four books, including Disco Hypnotic.
Registration:
Advanced registration is recommended at ChicagoPoetry.com exhibitor table in the Grand Lobby or in the Lower Level Reception Hall twenty-five minutes before the start of the program. Each poet will be allowd to read for three minutes or less.
