About this event:
ScribbleMonster can be heard nationally on children’s radio and their latest release was named one of the Top 5 Kids & Family Albums of the Year by National Public Radio. Their “draw outside the lines” approach to music for the family has earned the band raves from parents and Parenting Magazine alike. The ScribbleMonster approach to music and other activities centers on what children can do, rather than focusing on what they can’t. Their philosophy is “all kids are creative equal” and that children learn by having fun and by expressing themselves through the arts: fine art, dance, the written word, music and singing. By stimulating creative expression in a non-restrictive format that encourages each child’s own unique creative participation, ScribbleMonster's open-ended approach to music validates each child’s efforts and builds upon their success in developmentally appropriate ways. Come sing, think, play, dance and get creative with ScribbleMonster!
