Program: Lapsit Story Time (0-18 months)

About this event:
Books and babies?  You bet!  This program blends board and simple picture books with flannel board stories, puppets, and songs as well as interactive rhymes and knee bounces.

Designed with careful attention to infant and toddler development, Hello, Baby! Book Sharing Time promotes the joys of shared reading, the benefits of early literacy, and the importance of the caregiver-child connection.

Age range:
0-18 months with adult caregiver

Registration limit:
10 babies

Program dates:
During the 6-week Winter Session, this program meets on the following dates:

February 5
February 19
February 26
March 5
March 12

There will be no program on February 12, when Chicago Public Library will be closed in observance of Lincoln's Birthday.

Registration:

Pre-registration for this program is required at least 24 hours in advance.

Pre-registration for all Winter Session programs begins Tuesday, January 26, at 10:00 AM.
