Location:

About this event:

Temple Grandin, bestselling animal scientist and advocate and author of Animals in Translation and Thinking in Pictures, discusses and signs her new book, Animals Make Us Human: Creating the Best Life for Animals. In Animals in Translation, Grandin drew on her own experience with autism as well as her distinguished career as an animal scientist and innovator in the treatment of livestock to deliver extraordinary insights into how animals think, act, and feel. Now she builds on those insights to show us how animals and humans can best interact and how we can give our animals the best and happiest life—on their terms, not ours.
