London psychologist Joe O'Laughlin has a good life - a fulfilling career and a wife and daughter he adores. While doing a psychological profile of a killer for the police, he is horrified to realize that the victim is one of his patients who had accused him of harassment. When he is unable to produce an alibi, Joe falls under suspicion and has to find the murderer to save himself.
