Chicago-based singer and pianist Justin Hayford
performs the music of American songwriter Jerry Livingston (1909-1987). Livingston's songs include such romantic ballads as Close to You, It's the Talk of the Town, The Twelfth of Never, and Under a Blanket of Blue; the popular novelty Mairzy Doats; Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo and A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes (both from 'Cinderella'), and 77 Sunset Strip (the theme song of the TV show of the same name). Hayford specializes in reviving obscure and forgotten songs from the past, so he likely will include a surprise or two from Livingston's catalog.
