About this event:
A performance by the rapper Vyle, named one of 'the new faces of hip hop' by Urb magazine in 2006. Vyle's music combines such elements as disco, Baltimore club, and electronic sounds atop vintage bass. 'I talk about what's going on around me--the irony of the world,' he once explained in the Chicago Tribune. 'And I want to say it the way I hear no one else saying it . . . that's part of what makes [ my sound ] unique.'
