Join host Victoria Lautman in conversation with novelist Monica Ali.
Monica Ali – born in Bangladesh, raised in London - became a sensation with her best-selling first novel, Brick Lane. Now, In the Kitchen explores the tense microcosm of an upscale hotel restaurant and its exuberantly multinational staff. When an employee turns up dead, the fragile balance is upended and for the executive chef, life will never be the same.
