About this event:

Bradford Morrow presents My Willa Cather, the keynote program of the 2009 International Cather Seminar: Cather, Chicago & Modernism.  Morrow is the author of the novels Come Sunday, The Almanac Branch, Trinity Fields, Giovanni's Gift, Ariel's Crossing, The Fifth Turning and a short story collection, Lush. In 1998, the American Academy of Arts and Letters presented him with the Academy Award in Literature. In 2007, he was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in fiction as well as the PEN/Nora Magid Award for excellence in literary journal editing. Morrow is a professor of literature and Bard Center Fellow at Bard College and is at work on a new novel, The Prague Sonatas.  Presented in partnership with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the Willa Cather Foundation.
