Everyone is welcome to join us at the Green City Market as we celebrate Lincoln and some of the heirloom and heritage produce that was grown on the Illinois frontier in his day. Dressed in the fashion of the time, living historian Ellie Carlson will shop for fresh, local ingredients and then prepare several traditional dishes that Lincoln might have eaten in his log cabin. Stop by to savor the sights, sounds and bounty of Green City Market!
This event will be held at the Green City Market, located in Lincoln Park, between 1849 N. Clark and Stockton Dr.
