What did people wear during the Civil War era?  Did women really wear corsets and hoop skirts?  How did they keep cool in the summer?  Nineteenth Century fashion historian Caroline Goldthorpe will discuss the fashions and everyday clothing of the 1860s, both in Illinois and the rest of the country.
