Join local historian Momma Kemba for dramatic presentations of important women from America’s history. Accompanied by her grandson Beji, Momma Kemba’s moving songs and stories are as entertaining as they are enlightening. Ida B. Wells committed her life to civil rights. She launched the first anti-lynching crusade after the Civil War, and later moved to Chicago where she worked to ease racial tensions.
