Poet Kevin Coval will read from his new book everyday people.
Kevin Coval is the founder of Louder Than a Bomb: The Chicago Teen Poetry Festival, and the resident poet and hip-hop correspondent for Chicago Public Radio. His book slingshots (a hip-hop poetica) was named Book of the Year-finalist by The American Library Association.
A book signing will follow the reading. Books will be available for purchase.
