As the nation observes the sesquicentennial of the Civil War, please join us for this free program on Chicago’s notorious Camp Douglas presented by David Keller from the Camp Douglas Restoration Foundation. Home to 25,000 confederate prisoners and training center for 40,000 Union Soldiers, including African American troops, Camp Douglas played a prominent role in the war between the states. Registration is not required.
