Columbia College Chicago Department of Creative Writing presents the 18th Annual Story Week Festival of Writers programs in partnership with the Chicago Public Library.
Stuart Dybek reads from and discusses his work with Donna Seaman.
Stuart Dybek is author of the fiction Childhood and Other Neighborhoods, The Coast of Chicago, I Sailed with Magellan and poetry collections Brass Knuckles and Streets in Their Own Ink. His work frequently appears in the New Yorker, Harpers, the Atlantic, Tin House, Granta, Ploughshares, Poetry and the Paris Review.
Donna Seaman is a senior editor for Booklist. She has received the James Friend Memorial Award for Literary Criticism, several Pushcart Prize special mentions, the Studs Terkel Humanities Service Award. Seaman has been a writer-in-residence for the Fiction Writing Department at Columbia College Chicago, and a guest editor for Fifth Wednesday and Creative Nonfiction.
